Stupid is as stupid does! Recall about information technology. A scratch is a sure width, when yous smooth it you are just grinding off the edges of the scratch and actually making it wider. So unless you lot are capable of removing all the surrounding material to the depth of the deepest role of the scratch AND maintaining the profile to inside a very very small-scale tolerance and so this simply Volition Non work. Filling the scratch with wax cannot work either as wax does non take the same refractive index as the lens fabric. Conclusion: take care of your glasses and if you are careless enough to harm them information technology'due south your ain error, accept responsibility and supplant them.
